Bio

Ben Capps enjoys a versatile career as a solo cellist, collaborator, composer, and teacher.  He has performed extensively in his hometown of NYC, most notably at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and Madison Square Garden, and has performed as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the United States, and internationally at festivals, universities, salons, clubs, cafés, skyscrapers, on boats, and in barns.  Capps has also performed throughout Washington, DC, at the National Cathedral, National Gallery of Art, the Kennedy Center, as well as at universities, clubs, and homes. Ben Capps serves as coordinator of chamber music at Georgetown University, and teaches at other colleges in NY and NJ.
